We will be home soon – our flight leaves in two hours and arrives in Sydney early in the morning (around 6ish we think).
So although our journeys have come to an end, drug we thought we’d share a little frustrating experience we had at Narita airport. When we got to the airport, we discovered that the NZ team had been invited into the Qantas club by Air New Zealand, but yet Qantas would not allow the Australian team to enter! It seems a little odd that the Australian team is denied access to an Australian airline (even when we’re in our beautiful blazers), but yet the New Zealand team are. We are totally outraged!
So outraged in fact, that we are currently sitting outside the Qantas club leaching the free WiFi while two of the students (Kelvin and Stuart) enjoy the luxuries of the business lounge. We can only dream of what’s behind those stained misted glass doors, glowing with the soft warm golden light emanating from within.
